Join us every Tuesday morning during term time, from 10:00 to 11:15am in the Parish Room, for Praise and Play—a warm and welcoming group for parents, carers, and children under 5.
Our sessions begin with time for free play, giving little ones the freedom to explore toys, books, and puzzles in a safe, friendly space. It’s also a great opportunity for adults to relax with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy conversation with other parents and carers in the local community.
After playtime, we gather together for a short, child-friendly Bible story, told with enthusiasm and imagination. Each story is paired with a creative craft or simple activity to help children engage with the theme in a hands-on and meaningful way.
Next comes singing, where we enjoy lively action songs and gentle worship music that little ones love to join in with—clapping, dancing, and making a joyful noise!
We share refreshments partway through the morning, with snacks for the children and hot drinks and biscuits for the adults. Every session ends with a short prayer, offering a peaceful moment of reflection and gratitude.
Praise and Play is a relaxed, inclusive group where faith is gently woven into fun and friendship. Whether you attend church regularly or not, you are most welcome to come along, meet others, and enjoy a special time with your child.
